Annual Town Election

UPDATE: There was a strong voter turnout for this election with 37% of registered voters making it to the polls.
See some intesting observations below the actual numbers.
A few interesting back of the envelope calculations:
All three of the 2 candidates for one position races garnered over 96% of available votes.
But when people got to vote for 2 out of 3 only 78% of available votes were cast and for the 3 out of 4 Finance choice only 72% of votes (1161 of possible 1605) were cast.

UPDATE: The meeting went past midnight last night and was quite animated. The Eagle has an article about it which has some strong sentiments in the Comments section.
On Wed, May 15 2013 Hinsdale's Annual Town meeting will be held at the Kittredge School wherein the qualified voters will act on 45 Articles.
