Select Board:
Chairman Paul Trova, Bruce Marshall, Kathy Cormier.

Board & Public Attendees:
John Adams, Russ Parks, Peter Frissell, John Boyle, Gabrielle Taglieri, Ken Walto.

At 7:00 PM Selectman Trova opened the Select Board’s meeting.

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Select Board Member Cormier made a motion to accept the prior Select Board meeting minutes. Selectman Marshall seconded. All were in favor.

The Select Board has met in public to review and approve correspondence and warrants presented to them.

The floor was open for discussion.
Ken Walto explained to the Board the distribution of grant funds that help to lower the cost for Towns who use Dalton Communications services.

Janet Rupke expressed her concern about receiving someone else’s excise tax bill with her own. The Select Board will address this issue with the Town Collector.

Selectman Marshall motioned to appoint James Manning as the Lake Management Chairman. Select Board Member Cormier seconded, all were in favor.

Selectman Trova noticed finance charges on the credit card bill again. The Board would like to get credit card applications from local banks.

Selectman Trova had mentioned that Pete had received a pump quote for Camp Romaca. Selectman Trova will review the document with the plumbing inspector prior to signing his approval for the purchase.

Selectman Trova had mentioned that the Board had received a letter about the Greener Communities Grant. The Board would like to look into this further.

Selectman Marshall had mentioned that he had received a phone call from a Towns person stating that another Towns person had called them and had told them how to fill out the Select Boards Survey because the caller was trying to get rid of someone. The Board was disappointed that someone would do such a thing. The Board had created this survey to let the Towns people evaluate the different Town departments and this person’s actions nullified their efforts.

Ray Bolduc was told by the Board to move one of the Emergency Management vehicles next to the garage out back,. Parts were taken off the vehicle and someone had put graffiti on it.

The Select Board voted unanimously to go into Executive Session for legal issues at 7:30 PM.

The Select Board reconvened the regular open session meeting at 7:49 pm.

Having no further business, the meeting adjourned at 7:49 PM.
